Tune tūn, n a melody or air. The name 'Whistle My Tune' comes from a song by my boyfriend, Alex's, band. In 2001, they wrote the song, and it was, locally, one of their most popular ones to date. It was requested at every gig they played, and adored by all. 'Whistle My Tune' Lyrics. I first used it at HHBBS as my screen name - \'.Whistle My Tune.'/, and you can still find me there, under that name. In 2002, at college, my Media class had a project. We had to divide into groups, and make a music promo for a song. I got into a group with a friend, Alex, and another member of his band, and we decided to make a promo for their very own 'Whistle My Tune'. We had so much, making the video, and we each got A-grades for it. I started thinking about buying a domain in February 2004. I'd been maintaining a website, hosted at someone else's domain, and figured I'd have more freedom if I had my own. Finding a domain name seemed so simple to me, so on March 3rd 2004, whistlemytune.com was born. It was purchased with the intention of being my personal site, and it was for a while, but when Alex's band needed more space for their site, I offered them mine, and their site was hosted here for a short time. But after the band decided to change their name, wmt.com returned back to being my personal home on the Internet, and here I am, working harder on it than I ever have before.
